Acceptance of these terms
These terms of service (“Terms”) form a legal agreement between you and Kanso Pty Ltd(“Kanso”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the Future Ready platform at getfutureready.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you're using Future Ready on behalf of an organisation under a separate written agreement (for example, a domain-wide rollout), the terms of that written agreement take precedence over anything inconsistent here.
The Future Ready service
Future Ready is an AI-readiness diagnostic platform. Users submit prompts about themselves, their team, or their organisation, and receive structured reports generated by AI that suggest practical actions, timeframes, resources, and a roadmap. Users can also ask follow-up questions about a report and submit support requests to our team.
The platform is currently in beta. Features may change, improve, or be removed without notice as we learn how the product is used.
Your account
To use most features you need an account, which is provisioned through our authentication partner Clerk. You agree to:
- provide accurate information when signing up;
- keep your credentials secure and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access;
- take responsibility for activity carried out under your account;
- use the service in your own capacity (don't share account access).
You must be at least 16 years old to use Future Ready. Full adult-level access applies from age 18.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to violate any law, infringe anyone's rights, or generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content;
- attempt to disable, bypass, or interfere with our rate limits, security measures, or audit logging;
- scrape, copy, or systematically reuse content from the service beyond your personal or organisational use;
- reverse-engineer the platform or attempt to discover the underlying prompts, models, or proprietary logic;
- create accounts en-masse, abuse the referral system, or otherwise manipulate free credits;
- resell or sub-license access to Future Ready or its reports without our written agreement (organisation rollouts are handled separately — see below).
We can suspend or close accounts that breach these rules. See Suspending or closing your account below.
Credits and payment
How credits work
Most actions on Future Ready cost credits. Scans cost between 1 and 3 credits depending on tier; follow-up questions cost 1 credit. Every new account receives a fixed number of free credits on signup (see Pricing for the current amount), and referring a friend grants both sides a small bonus.
Credits don't expire. They're tied to your individual account and aren't transferable between accounts.
Pricing and GST
When credit-pack purchases are available, prices shown on the Pricing page are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment processing is handled by Stripe under their own terms; we don't store your card details.
Refunds
Unused credits may be refunded on a case-by-case basis — contact us via the Kanso contact form. Credits that have already been spent generated a report on our end and aren't refundable. Your statutory consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law still apply where relevant — nothing in these Terms attempts to exclude them.
Organisation rollouts
For domain-wide rollouts where an organisation grants Future Ready access to its team members, billing is handled under a separate written agreement — typically quoted up-front and invoiced directly to the organisation. Terms in that agreement override anything inconsistent here for users covered by the rollout.
AI-generated content
Reports and follow-up answers generated by Future Ready are produced by large language models (currently Anthropic's Claude). AI output is:
- informational, not professional advice— it isn't legal, financial, medical, psychological, or career-counselling advice;
- based on patterns and probabilities, so it can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date even when it reads confidently;
- written for general guidance, not as a personalised decision tool — you remain responsible for evaluating its recommendations against your own circumstances, professional obligations, and your organisation's policies, contracts, and compliance requirements.
Don't rely on AI output for high-stakes decisions (employment, medical, legal, financial) without independent professional advice. If you're applying recommendations inside a workplace, check that they align with your employer's data, AI, procurement, and conduct policies before acting. If a report cites a fact, statistic, or research source you intend to act on, verify it directly with the source.
Your content and our intellectual property
Your content
You retain ownership of the text you submit (scan inputs, follow-up questions, ticket messages). By submitting it, you grant Kanso a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process it for the purpose of providing the service to you — including sending it to our AI subprocessor (Anthropic) to generate the response, and storing it as part of your account history.
We don't use your submitted content to train AI models, and we don't share it with anyone other than the subprocessors needed to deliver the service (see the Privacy Policy).
Generated reports
Reports generated for you (the scan output, follow-up answers) are yours to use — for your own career, team, or organisation planning. You may quote from them, share them within your team or with advisors, and adapt them as you see fit. Please don't publish them verbatim as if they were your own work, or resell them as a product.
Our platform
Kanso owns all rights in the Future Ready platform, its source code, design, the underlying frameworks (ARMOR, STRIDE, PULSE), brand assets, and accompanying content (the home page, the resources library, marketing material). You may not copy, modify, sub-license, or create derivative works from any of this without our written permission.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Future Ready, you agree to the practices described there.
Suspending or closing your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy for how. Deleting your account removes your account row and all linked scans, follow-ups, tickets, and credit ledger entries. It's irreversible.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms — for example, after attempts at credit fraud, abuse of the service, or activity that endangers other users or our infrastructure. We'll let you know the reason and (where possible) give you a chance to respond first.
We may also freeze accounts temporarily while we investigate suspected abuse. Frozen accounts can still sign in and read existing reports but can't spend credits.
Disclaimer of warranties
Future Ready is provided as-is and as-available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kanso disclaims all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free output, or specific outcomes from acting on a report.
Nothing in this section limits any non-excludable guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law or equivalent legislation in your jurisdiction.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Kanso's total aggregate liability to you arising out of or relating to Future Ready (under contract, tort, statute, or any other basis) is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Kanso in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) AUD $100.
- Kanso isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, or data.
These limits apply even if Kanso has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if a remedy fails its essential purpose. Nothing in this section limits liability that can't be limited under applicable consumer-protection law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Kanso against claims, losses, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the service, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right. We'll let you know promptly if such a claim arises and cooperate reasonably with your defence.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your home jurisdiction grants you the right to local proceedings.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to signed-in users via an in-app notice or email before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the change date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you don't agree to the changes, you can close your account before they take effect.
